FASTag is a tag which uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the account linked to it. It is affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas, without stopping for cash transactions. These tags, known as 'FASTag' will have dedicated lanes at the Toll-Plazas which will be known as the FASTag. It is an ideal solution for a smooth and hassle-free journey on national highways. FASTag is presently operational at 408 toll plazas across national and state highways. More toll plazas will be brought under the FASTag program in the future.
